All about visual arts, nature and high-fives!
Lorraine is an artist with a knack for numbers. She is fascinated by the fact that some of us can’t not read text when confronted with it, and always exploring color theory. Her current body of drawings are a collection of positive affirmations, and her paintings an exercise in organized abstraction.
From early on Lorraine developed a passion for the project management aspect of large scale art installations, and so sought to work in film in order to hone a unique ability to speak art and numbers. For the past eleven years she has been working to make feature films, animations and episodic television with Film Finances, Inc.
It’s around her pied-à-terre in Echo Park, Los Angeles and cottage in Big Bear Lake, California, where she lives as a mere mortal that makes art, goes on nature walks, and writes letters to loved ones.
An Oregonian raised on edge of Portland Lorraine was known to sell portraits and for captaining elite soccer teams in her youth. She is a graduate of the University of Oregon, holding a Bachelor of Arts, with double majors in Art and Spanish, and a minor in Anthropology.
